Scorsese's classic 'King of Comedy' to screen at Tribeca
NEW YORK, March 28 () -- The Tribeca Film Festival's closing film will be Martin Scorsese's 30-year-old classic "The King of Comedy," organizers said Thursday.The screening is to take place April 27 at BMCC Tribeca PAC. The movie stars film festival co-founder Robert De Niro, as well as Jerry Lewis, Diahnne Abbott and Sandra Bernhard."Twelve years ago when we announced the first festival, it was Marty's idea for us to feature restored and rediscovered films.
