Hey,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's Tomoki. Ikaros and Nymph, and even Astrea lately, have been making a ruckus at my house. I don't have any place of refuge anymore. This is a problem. There are people who think I can just spend my time surrounded by cute, sexy girls, but they're crazy. Nymph and Astrea do whatever they want, and Ikaros does ridiculous things without even realizing it. Now that I think about it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Ikaros has seemed kind of weird lately. She starts to space out. well, I guess she's always been like that. Anyway, someone give me back my safe havens!

Sometimes you just have to have an episode that's all about the fun. Sora No Otoshimono Forte is like that with most every episode but that's not a bad thing as it's designed well for it. There's a sense of ominous things happening soon,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which is pretty much a given the way some of the subplots have worked so far this season, but before it gets there it wants to be silly for awhile. Silly enough to show Tomoki enjoying the solitude of the bathroom, the last refuge he has, especially now that it has a bidet on it. One that can be controlled remotely by Nymph however,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which leads him from pleasure to anger.
Tomoki's the kind of guy who really doesn't have good luck at all, even though he's surrounded by lots of attractive women in various states of undress. You can understand his love of the bathroom, though he takes it a little further with snacks and drinks in addition to reading material, and his love of the bidet isn't quite what you want to see. His attempt at hiding out in his closet looks like it might go better, and it evokes a lot of nostalgia for many who spent time playing and reading quietly in the rooms with special corners,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but with the girls in his life there's a remote control for everything that will make it go badly. And all in their efforts to make things better for him. They simply can't do it right based on their knowledge and experience with the world.
In the end,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's Tomoki that really steals the show for me. While the girls are pretty and there's lots of raunchy moments, Tomoki is this generation's Ataru Moroboshi. He makes it even more plainly clear in this episode when he shows off a massive project he's been working on in secret for awhile with his peeping tom system of pipes and mirrors that lets him see everywhere from his room. Though you can pretty much see it ending badly from a mile away, the whole concept is simply perfect and fits his personality so well that you can't help but love it. The reactions of the others to it are all predictably as well but it all has a great flow to it that leaves you smiling waiting for the next shoe to drop. And with all the women in Tomoki's life, that's a lot of shoes. Very dangerous shoes.
In Summary:
Sora No Otoshimono Forte is a show that I still think I really shouldn't like because in its own way it's been done quite a lot before,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but the style of it and the nature of it continues to delight and make me laugh. Tomoki's not the usual down on his luck rube that's trying to cope with all these women. He's an absolute letch who wants to get with as many other women as he can because these will trap him. Watching his elaborate plans or the outlandish things he does in order to achieve his goals has left me laughing for the majority of this season and has me eager to see the first since I missed it the first time around. While they are tying things together with a larger plot, I'd be more than content with this kind of episode every week.
