Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal in final of China Open

It was his fourth title this year and 38th overall. Djokovic snapped a three-match losing streak to Nadal, a run that included the U.S. Open final, but trails their all-time series 16-22.Nadal, losing for just the fourth time in 69 matches this year, saw a 22-match winning streak end. He's entered 14 tournaments this year and won 10 while Sunday marked his third runner-up finish.Djokovic collected a $557,100 along with the tournament title, pushing his career winnings to more than $53 million.
