India April inflation lowest in more than three years

Food inflation fell to 6.08 percent in April from 8.73 percent in March.WPI inflation in the manufactured items category also declined to 3.41 percent in April from 4.07 per cent in March.Earlier this month, the Reserve Bank of India, the country's central bank, cut its key interest rate by 0.25 percent to 7.25 percent to spur economic growth.
