the photographer, Frank, knew what he was doing. he took one take a look at her and had a creative vision for her. he knew what props to use. what poses to have her in. his assistant was recorded on the floor with knee pads on. she had all the right tricks - just like a clever red laser,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the infant would stick to the laser in to the exact spot that Frank wanted her to look. amazing. it blew me away.
the middle child, the boy, overlooked, once more. we didn't return to Here's My Baby, and visited a photographer called David Amoils. while we loved the shot of Joshie and the one we bought of the two kids together, it just wasn't the same.
In 2000 and then again in 2002 I took shots of my children every month for that first Six months of the lives and then every A few months at Sears. Sears was previously great because I bring my own props, find the same background every time therefore the pics would look good together and they always gave great gifts like magnet frames. There were coupons within the mail therefore the shots would end up to be really cheap and there were always wallet sizes to go around its those bubies etc. They stopped the gifts, prices went up and we didn need 6 copies of each pic. NOW we simply upload the pics from the digital camera right to Evening and Dash websites. Can wait to determine the proofs tomorrow too!!!

Yep. It time for the annual argument with dh over whether or not to get photos taken. Now we make more $, so hopefully it will be okay. I am considering taking them without saying word one to dh. I attempt to go as cheap as possible, but we need the Christmas card photos. The main point, and that the primary cost. We all do JCPenney, therefore it affordable. Now they older and can sit for two kids one picture, that ought to save money. Do we need wallets every year? Probably! Do we need 5x7s to see relatives? Hm. Each year? Do we need to continue the 8x10 tradition each year? Hm. See, and now I have to consult dh. *sigh!*

Yeah, lump me in the BAD Mommy camp. Babe #1 got a Sears session a minimum of twice/year - we went once when Babe #2 involved 6 mths old after which never again. We don have Loblaws out West, just Real Canadian Superstore and they don do portraits. Lots of people visit Wal-Mart,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however i won't shop there (that the whole other thread!) and besides, I believe the photos usually look even cheesier than Sears (what is with that tiny, white wicker chair they all seem to have?). Anyway, DH has turned out to be very good behind the lens in our digital cam so he officially on portrait duty, and that i took up scrapbooking explicity to "even out" the photograph imbalance between your two kids. Now I much more horribly behind than ever before! Cheers!
I did the Here My Baby thing too and Frank was really good and also the second time I had Francesca who was just as good and now has her very own place and so i considering taking the kids there to complete one with all 3 and perhaps the dog,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
I used Sears once or twice that was okay nothing special and i attempted to use Great Canadian (like Loblaws) but my daughter just wouldn sit to take a picture. I did previously give out pictures at their birthday celebration (Christopher birtday is really a week after Samantha and Emma and so i do all 3 together) however i haven since that incident and I been doing my own Christmas card pictures through Future Buy online photo shop,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Beats the irritation of going somewhere and that i feel like I be resourceful!!
Sharing photos is a great expression of how proud we are in our monkeys, your children are too cute! The best photos are the type that show up when we get the film developed that were taken buy my children (without my permission of course). Yes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], us is a freak of nature and does not have a camera. An excessive amount of pressure that i can carry something around which i will obviously out down somewhere and end up forgetting. Upside down,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], half a body, modeling poses with their friends and our cat, Washington, all dressed up.
My children love to look at photos - especially of those photos taken before time. Keeps them busy until the next fight starts.
with boy #1, i had been at picture people every month (almost) till he turned 1,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], after which every 3 months or so. and like everyone warned me,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it has return to bite me in the ass with boy #2. ive tried,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], oh, i tried,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to obtain as numerous pictures of him as boy #1, but boy #2 HATES picture people. the worlds happiest baby screams the moment he gets put down on the backdrop.
