We now have two competing "kisses of death." Bill Kristol is the worst political prognosticator in the world, even though he's really, really convincing in a sincere and informed and neo-connish way. And, he actually goes out on limbs with regularity and is almost always wrong. It's gotten to the point that when he says, "I predict." and it's something that I wish really would happen, I go through a little exorcism ritual to counteract his oppositional mojo.
Barack Obama, on the other hand, is the grim reaper of future possibilities. He says "I favor X" in whatever play off, and "X" goes down in the first round in a rout, their center/quarterback/pitcher fouled out/concussed/arrested in the first 10 minutes of the game. If he joins the razzle-dazzle tour for anything, it goes to crap. Olympics, anyone? Care to weigh in, Jon. Martha. Creigh? This is why the serious money is on Sharon "My Orthodontist is also my Podiatrist" Angle against Harry Reid.
