Headline PMI index for eurozone retail remains below 50
BRUSSELS, June 27 () -- The pace of decline in retail sales in the 17-member eurozone fell to its slowest pace in over a year in June, Markit Economics said Thursday.The private research firm said the headline Purchasing Managers Index for retail reached 49.1 in the month of June.With numbers below 50 indicating a contraction, that is still below the break-even line.
