Also, what would McCain have done different? He wanted to freeze spending, and cut funding to programs our nation needs; he wasn't any diverse from Bush. Remember, our failing economy started using the Bush administration, and before you go there, I'm not an Obama supporter, Or perhaps a McCain supporter. I think we'd happen to be screwed in either case, with or with no WHITE MAN in office. LOL Just my opinion.
Wow, looking back, I think we've veered horribly off topic. The topic was about Michelle's tennis shoes. I agreed it was in poor judgment to wear expensive running sneakers to a charity event,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however i doubt it had been the very first time in history that a First Lady did that. I still believe that if Michelle had shown up in thrift store, payless shoes someone might have had something negative to say of it. "Our First Lady has no taste, a way disaster", or, "Who does she think she's fooling, wearing cheap shoes??" "We understand how much the president makes. She will afford better shoes than that!" LMAO!! She not trying to please everybody, so this is ridiculous. Steve, here's what I was getting at - Yes, she wore some really expensive shoes, but it is the main of it. Many of us are being asked to create sacrifices and tighten our belts. She was in a charity event to "Feed America" and she or he wears shoes that are valued at more than alot of folks can spend on groceries inside a month. I myself, think this is a slap in the face. What's wrong having a 50.00 set of nikes, and donate five hundred dollars to assist feed america. Remember,those who insert them in office?!

I seem to remember Sarah Palin and McCain's wife trotting around in expensive threads and my ass was in your own home wondering how to make ends meet. Hell, I saw a picture of President Bush in Africa wearing what appeared as if an Armani suit. I'm sure when the individual who researched how much Michelle paid for those shoes had ALSO researched what Jacqueline Kennedy, Laura Bush, Nancy Reagan, and so on-had worn to their charity events would have found exactly the same expensive price tags. That's all I'm saying.
