Hosmer also homered in the first inning.The late comeback gave the win to Luke Hochevar (3-1), who worked the top of the ninth. Ervin Santana gave up three runs on seven hits in an eight-inning effort.Kansas City's ninth-inning run came off Darren O'Day (5-1).
